Can I enjoy wellness experiences at Aadya?
Yes. At Aadya, wellness is approached holistically, with experiences designed to restore mind, body, and soul. Guests may enjoy curated Spa rituals with Ayurveda or botanical (estate tea & flowers) inspired treatments. We also have Wellness Retreat Programs including 2 hours of treatments per day, doctors consultations, yoga, meditation, and gourmet wellness cuisine.
Does Aadya have a swimming pool?
Yes. Guests have access to a heated swimming pool at Highfield House, the Clubhouse.
What type of accommodation is available?
Aadya offers exclusively private three- and four-bedroom bungalows. Each residence is reserved in its entirety for a single booking, ensuring complete privacy, generous living space, and an intimate stay with ‘Appu’ (Butler) service.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 2:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM. We also provide in-bungalow check-in and check-out. Early arrivals or late departures may be arranged subject to availability.
What dining options are available on the estate?
Dining at Aadya is centred around Highfield House, the estate’s Clubhouse, where meals unfold throughout the day. Guests may also enjoy Aahaana Bar, as well as signature experiences such as Aaloka, an open-air bonfire dining experience, and Aahaara, a curated tea-infused culinary journey often set within the Organic Vegetable Garden. In-bungalow dining is also available.
What experiences are available during my stay?
Aadya offers a curated selection of experiences designed to connect guests with the estate and its surroundings. These include guided nature walks, tea experiences, a 9 hole private golf course, tennis, kayaking, hiking, and wellness sessions. We offer a private tour and tea tasting session at Norwood Tea Factory (for bookings of 2 nights or longer). Cultural encounters, cooking experiences, and excursions into the hill country including Sri Pada (Adam’s Peak) can also be arranged, ensuring a stay that is both enriching and unhurried.

Where is Aadya located?
Aadya is set within Sri Lanka’s hill country near Hatton, approximately 4.5 hours by road from Bandaranaike International Airport. It is around 30–45 minutes from Hatton town, Hatton Railway Station, and Castlereagh Reservoir (for seaplane access). Helicopter transfers can be arranged, with a helipad available on the estate. Detailed directions are shared prior to arrival for a seamless journey.
