The editors note that Sri Lanka’s hill country has no shortage of tea estate retreats, but single out Aarunya for pushing the concept in a more immersive direction. Its newly opened Nature Pavilion anchors what Oprah Daily describes as Sri Lanka’s first biodynamic luxury retreat hub — a space where guests can join species-count walks, reforestation plantings, and informal talks with visiting naturalists and researchers.
The 10-villa resort sits within working spice gardens and tea terraces overlooking the Knuckles Mountain Range.
