AAHAASA Collection, a new luxury boutique hospitality brand, has launched a transformative circuit across Sri Lanka, inviting travellers to explore the island’s mountains, coast, and tea country. Founded by Nath Rankothge, the brand aims to elevate Sri Lankan hospitality through immersive experiences rooted in nature and culture.
The collection’s properties offer distinct journeys, each reflecting the rhythm of its landscape. From the awakening in the mountains at Aarunya Nature Resort to renewal by the sea at Aavya Cove Villas, and reflection in the tea country, each sanctuary provides a unique interpretation of design, culture, and wellness.
The brand’s philosophy, “Infinite Horizons, Transformative Journeys, Rooted in Nature,” is embodied in its emblem of three ascending lines, symbolising growth and transformation. This ethos is reflected in the experiences offered, such as the Aarogya wellness concept and Aahaara dining, which reimagines Sri Lankan cuisine with locally sourced ingredients.
AAHAASA’s origins trace back to Aarunya Nature Resort, co-founded by Nath Rankothge and his family, who sought to give back to their homeland. The resort, located near Kandy, serves as the flagship property, offering a tranquil escape amidst spice and tea gardens.
Looking ahead, AAHAASA plans to expand its offerings with ventures like Aamudra yachting experiences and AAHAASA Branded Residences, aiming to bring Sri Lankan hospitality to a global audience whilst maintaining its unique cultural identity.
